Abstract
The use of scanning electron microscope in the observation of some pathogenic fungi, especially of Sporotrichum schenckii, was reported. Spores of S. schenckii were borne on the tip of sterigma with a smooth surface and the small lod connecting the spore and sterigma were observed. The difficulties in making the specimens for the scanning electron microscope such as fixation and deformity of surface structure were discussed.
