Abstract
This study was performed to evaluate the influence of commercial cosmetic preparations on normal skin functions. The subjects for this study were ten female volunteers, aged between 20 and 49 years. The following skin function tests were measured on skin temperature, skin pH, skin alkali-neutralizing capacity, sweat volume, and analysis of skin surface lipid in controlled climate room. No significant pathological findings of skin functions were measured in all volunteers.
