Abstract
We reported two cases of a dome-shaped nodule on the dorsum of a finger, which had been present since birth and slowly became enlarged. In the light microscopic examination, the nodule showed some similarities to verrucous hemangioma. However, it was characterized by distinct clinical features and a proliferation of dermal connective tissue. To our knowledge, a tumor with such clinical and histopathological characteristics had not been previously reported. We believe that our two presented cases are a distinct clinical and pathological entity. We consider these tumors to be a variant of verrucous hemangioma and propose the term of digital verrucous fibroangioma.
