Abstract
A 39-year-old man with an ulcer on the penis using cold spray due to neurosis is reported. He developed pain on the penis, followed by arthralgia and general fatigue. He consulted many doctors in various hospitals and either collagen disease or Behçet’s disease were initially suspected. When he visited our university hospital, an irregularly shaped ulcer was observed on the penis. In spite of various examinations including a skin biopsy, we were not able to reach a final diagnosis. One month later he confessed that he had used cold spray due to an uncomfortable feeling in his penis. From these findings, diagnosis was made for his uleers on the penis as neurosis.
