Abstract
A 35 year-old man with a three-year history of bronchial asthma was referred to us because of purpura on his extremities and nodules on his elbows. A laboratory examination revealed that
1) leukocytasis and eosinophilia of the peripheral blood,
2) a positive RA test, and
3) a high titer of IgE.
A histopathological examination showed leukocytoclastic vasculitis with eosinophilia and extravascular granuloma of the skin. We therefore concluded that this was a case of allergic granulomatosis.
