Abstract
We report a case of impetigo herpetiformis. A 25-year-old woman, in her 9th month of pregnancy, was admitted because of general fatigue, a low grade fever, annular or circinate erythema with groups of small pustules. The histopathological findings showed intraepidermal and subcorneal spongiform pustules. On the next day of admission, her baby was safely delivered. The baby demonstrated no abnormalities. One day after childbirth, new pustules reappeared on the erythematous lesions, and she was therefore treated with oral corticosteroids. After 5 weeks of treatment, the lesions finally disappeared. There has been no reccurence of the pustules during a 10 months follow-up period.
