Abstract
Four acetabular revison arthroplasty surgeries were performed with allograft using the KT plate. The average age of the patients at the time of revison was 83.4 years. Their acetabular bone defect was classified into type II (2 cases), type III (1 case) and type IV (1 case) according to Gustillo's classification. The mean follow-up of the series was 1 year and 10 months. The mean JOA hip score improved from 44.5 points to 72.3 points. No loosening prosthesis were observed. This study indicated that acetabular allograft reconstruction reinforced by the KT plate provides satisfactory clinical and radiological results.
