Thirty-nine cases of the congenital dislocation of this hip joint treated by abduction diaper were classified as follows:
number of cases; period from birth
27 1-6 months old
7 7-12 months old
5 1-3 years old
Of these cases, 33 recovered completely and 4 had to be adopted the abduction plaster.
Epiphysitis of femoral head occured in 2 cases of the series.
