Two cases of the infant with subluxation of the second vertebra on the third were reported not associated with any neurological defecit.
Twenty month old baby girl was admitted to our department with the complaint of strict limitation of neck movement. X-ray revealed four millimeter of dislocation of the second vertebra on the third in anterior flexion. Treated with halter traction and a neck brace.
Seven month old baby girl appeared to our department with the complaint of limitation of neck move ment after violent insertion of a single tube for her stomach. X-ray revealed minimal dislocation of the second vertebra on the third.
