Abstract

The physiological and roentgenographic evaluations were taken at them, who had been treated for congenital hip dislocation from 1951 to 1957 in our clinic. Anatomical healing rate was only 24%.
Followed conditions were necessary to get good results.
1) unilateral cases.
2) treated at 1 year old.
3) none or mild degree of avascular necrosis of the femoral head.
A rate of avascular necrosis of the femoral head was 58%.
