Recently, we experienced a case of snapping shoulder.
Case: A man of 16 years of age had painfull snapping shoulder and its pain was progressive. In arthrogram, we found the long head of bicipital tendon dislocated from bicipital groove at snapping. By local anesthesia operative treatment by Hitchcock's method and excision of anterior capsular tissue which was 3 times thicker than normal was done. 8 months later, shoulder pain and snapping was lost.
