Abstract
The Osteosarcoma arising in elderly persons is very rare. In Kumamoto university medical school we have had 32 cases of osteosarcoma in the past 15 years. The age of the two cases in this group was older than 60 years of age.
We reported a 66-year-old female who had a osteosarcoma at the distal end of the right femur. The histological findings were those of typical osteosarcoma and showed numerous proliferation of bizarr cells and osteoid formation.
