Abstract
Spinal Cord Evoked Potentials (SPEP) were used for spinal cord monitoring in 9 cases of spinal surgery. In 3 cases of them, some changes were noted during operation. In one case of spinal cord tumor, a little increase of the amplitude was observed when the tumor was extirpated. In other two cases, one with idiopathic scoliosis and the other with epidural tumor, checking the decrease of the amplitude during operation was considered to be very helpful to avoid the spinal cord damage.
