Abstract
For the subjects of 37 cases of degenerative lumbar spinal canal stenosis, the following studies were made. By comparative review of form lateral view in posture with clinical symptoms of patients, survey was made on how the posture is related to the development of symptom of lumbar spinal canal stenosis.
As a result, the most remarkable item was the decrease in the curved angle of both thoracic kyphosis and lumbar lordosis with the progress of lumbar spinal canal stenosis. There were many cases showing the flat and straight extended thoracic and lumbar spine.
