Abstract
We report two cases with combined rapid. destruction of the femoral head and intracapsular femoral neck fracture. These cases were similar in regard to clinical, radiological, MRI and histological findings.
The possible causes included avascular necrosis, osteoporosis and ischemic changes from the femoral head to intertrochanter.
The patients underwent Bipor hip prosthesis without cement, and were well postoperatively.
