Abstract
This report summarizes the activities conducted for TJ-SSF 2025, an outreach-based science program designed for high school students. In this project, two second-year students undertook an experimental study titled “Investigation of Long-Spinning Tops.” Although the experimental outcomes differed from the initial expectations, the students gained significant educational benefits through the full research cycle, including the fabrication of experimental apparatus, data acquisition and analysis, and the preparation of reports and posters. Reflections and points for improvement derived from the current year’s activities are also outlined to support the enhancement of future programs. This case study aims to contribute to the further promotion of research-oriented learning among lower-year technical college students.
