Change in Residents’ Attitude by the Improvement of a Rural Community Sewage Treatment Plant

Abstract

Multi-faceted characteristics of residents’ attitudes before and after implementation of a rural community sewage plant improvement project were analyzed by the TN method (Tohoku National Agricultural Experiment Station method) and DEMATEL method. Analysis revealed that residents held a variety of expectations of the project before its implementation and that their expectations focused on the improvement of conditions for fixed settlement after implementation.
