Abstract
In this paper, details and problems to provide medical services efficiently were introduced from the viewpoints of medical systems engineering and design for medical information systems. We also considered that patients' sense of values for medical services and needs are changing. And we studied the necessary conditions to provide medical services that agree with such needs. Then the roles, problems and usage of medical information system to provide good quality medical service efficiently were discussed.Finally, we proposed what medical services are in aged society in 21st century.
