Abstract
After critically reviewing the definition of “game” of the traditional game theory by von Neumann, a new definition of extensive games which separates exclusively from normal games is proposed. A logical consequence by taking account of the axiom based on the traditional game theory is that in the newly defined extensive game only one Nash equilibrium can be chosen, in principle, from Nash equilibria.
