Abstract
Thorn's test and blood sugar determination were carried out in persons who stayed at Kusatsu to take bath in the hot spring. The glucose tolerance curve was elevated immediately after epinephrin injection, then fell below the pre-injection level. In long sojourners, the fall rate of the acidophile became small, and Thorn's test turned negative whereas the glucose tolerance curve showed a remarkable rise followed by a still more remarkable fall. The time for the appearance of the peak did not seem to alter.
