A 26-year-old female and a 56-year-old male who suffered from middle ear cholesteatoma which extended into the inner ear are reported.
The vestibule, the semicircular canals and even the cochlea were destroyed by cholesteatoma. They had complete facial palsy and total deafness in the diseased ear. The hearing loss showed no change, but facial palsy improved after the treatments.
