Exercise therapy for dizzy patients with vestibular injuries was effectively applied by Cawthorne and Cooksey in 1946. Then, many basic and clinical research studies on this theme have been published. However, it might be hard to say that vestibular exercises were usefully applied to treat patients with vertigo and dizziness clinically.
The purpose, method, indication of vestibular rehabilitation were asserted in this report.
