Abstract
The effect of coblation ablation surgery in patients with perennial allergic rhinitis and hypertrophic rhinitis was studied in 129 cases. The bilateral inferior turbinate was cauterized with an ENTec wand under local anesthesia.
ENTec surgery was effective in 84% of cases for overall nasal symptoms 1 month after surgery and is thus considered effective, easy treatment in perennial allergic rhinitis and hypertrophic rhinitis
