The exchange coupling bias field in the antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic bilayer system is investigated within the framework of the classical Heisenberg model. The spin structures in the L10−type ordered phase and the disordered γ−phase of antiferromagnetic alloys including magnetic and non−magnetic atoms are obtained, and the magnetization loops are calculated by using the Landau−Lifshitz motion equation. The spin structure in an antiferromagnetic layer and the spin arrangement at an interface play very important roles for generation of the exchange coupling bias field in such bilayer systems.
