There has been a great interest in the study of the photomagnetic properties of molecular compounds. The development of such photomagnetic materials is important from the viewpoints of its application to optical memory and its fundamental aspects. In this report, we briefly introduce a recent advancement in the development of molecular photomagnetic materials in our laboratory, such as FeIII spin-crossover complexes, Co valence tautomeric compounds and FeCo Prussian blue analogues.
