Mechanical properties of high-density CNT films

Abstract

Transmission electron diffraction analysis has revealed that zigzag-type carbon nanotubes are selectively formed by the surface decomposition method. Moreover, it will be presented that the unique structure such as a well-aligned, densely packed and sufficiently interface strengthed one results in the generation of novel mechanical properties.
