Crystal structure and physical properties of newly discovered iron-based superconductors

Abstract

Almost one and a half years have passed since the momentous discovery of the iron-based superconductors. These physical properties have been investigated using high-quality samples. In this article, the crystal structures and physical properties of the series of iron-based superconductors are discussed. Recent studies on the fabrication of superconducting wires using Fe(Se,Te) and new materials are also outlined.
