Organic radical battery

Abstract

Organic radical battery (ORB) is a rechargeable battery utilizing the redox of organic stable radicals in flexible polymers. The ORB has several advantages, i.e., very high power density, relatively high energy density, good charge-discharge cyclability and flexibility. These advantages are suitable for flexible and thin devices, such as advanced smartcards or flexible e-papers.
