Flexible thin-film energy devices are of two types, namely, Li ion rechargeable batteries and Si solar cells. First, the flexible Li ion rechargeable batteries fabricated by using three types of flexible substrate film, namely, stainless-steel foil, ultrathin glass plate and polymer film, are presented. Next, the composite flexible energy devices successfully constructed by putting two types of battery one over the other are shown. Furthermore, flexible electronic devices with their own distributed energy sources are referred to from the viewpoint of energy harvesting.
