Abstract

Living organisms have a unique energy saving mechanism based on stochastic resonance. It works well in conjunction with “Yuragi”. To date, “Yuragi” has been thought of as a noise that needs to be canceled out in order to realize accurate, robust and high speed calculations. In biosystems, basically, “Yuragi” is a thermal fluctuation that plays an important role for realizing high sensitivity and low energy consumption. Spin glass and cluster glass are two of the better candidates as a “Yuragi” system that has a fluctuating nature by itself. Based on the new physical properties that we learned from bio-fluctuation, the development of low electric energy consumption devices can be expected.
