Studies of spin-related thermoelectric (TE) effects such as the spin Seebeck effect and anomalous Nernst effect have been increasing recently. Although their TE conversion efficiency or power factor have so far been much smaller than required by practical needs, recent studies have steadily improved these performance metrics through developing new materials. In this article, we review the studies on spin-related TE effects, the results of our combinatorial material development and analytical approaches using materials informatics.
