About 10 years have passed since the concept of an IoT (Internet of Things) became widely observed. In our daily lives, we already have smartphones and other devices (Things) that are always connected to networks. One of the essential electronic devices for “Things” to take in external information and operate autonomously and effectively is the “Image Sensor” which becomes the “Eyes” of “Things”. In this article, we will discuss the image sensor technology that supports the IoT era, which will continue to expand in the future, along with the latest image sensor technology reported at international conferences.
