Future hardware platform for AI

Abstract

Information technology is rapidly and broadly utilized in our daily life and changes it more comfortable one. Semiconductor technology plays a fundamental role to support such social infrastructure and will continue to be an essential technology to gain further convenience. In this paper, history and status of semiconductor technology are briefly reviewed, then future hardware platform for AI is discussed.
