Abstract

Cooeperative control of a number of traffic signals is expected to play a key role in traffic control. However, such a control system behaves as one of agents in a complex system, so that is is difficult to evaluate its effectiveness. To discuss such a problemin a quantitative fashion, we perform virtual experiments using a multi-agent traffic and environment simulator MATES we are developing.
