The visualization of concept creation through analogy game

Abstract

The analogy sometimes brings us new concepts. This study intends to explore the effect of analogy, where categorization of words as an action provides with an implication for human's concept creation. Those process are to be shown by dissecting playing logs derived from a Web based analogy game that is developed for players to enjoy categorization of words in consideration of analogy so as to make batch of words to produce new concepts. The result implies through playing logs the existence of two types of behavior and the characteristics of concept creation process in line with player's motion capture.
