This paper introduces the activities of Human Interface Society. Human Interface Society was established in 1999, aiming at becoming an authority for researchers, engineers and students of human interface technologies. Members are steadily increasing to be more than double over a period of eight years. Participants in Human Interface Symposium (HIS) are also increasing and HIS2007 in this September was the largest since its start in 1985.We also promote international activities through participation in IMT (Information and Media Technologies) with other five domestic societies and planning of organized sessions in HCI In-ternational conference.
