Possibility of software development leading by universities on data mining applications

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new methodology to diffuse data mining technology developed by researchers who belong to universities. In order to this, we need that universities redefine the software development as a research, and sophisticate the data mining software using open source software development methods by themselves. KGMOD, data mining software we developed aiming to realize the methodology is introduced.
