Abstract

While various approaches such as stochastic process models, equilibrium models, and system dynamics have been applied to social simulation, constitutive models, which can deal with huge and complex systems, are prevailing in the last decade. In this presentation, we would like to discuss the possibility of social simulation for resolving problems that modern society is now facing exemplifying issues of an urban critical infrastructure or a product recall system.
