Abstract

The purpose of this study was to propose a task to improve the ability to acquire other's perspectives. The present game scores of the perspective acquisition group were higher than those of the control group, suggesting that the manner game improves perspective taking ability. The experimental system consisted of two stages. The first stage was to experience thinking from the perspective of others (experimental manipulation stage), and the second stage was to measure whether the first stage of the experimental manipulation improved the ability to acquire viewpoints (viewpoint acquisition ability measurement stage). After the second stage, a questionnaire with a subscale of viewpoint taking was administered. The results suggest that the manner game played by the perspective taking group improved their perspective taking ability.
