Abstract
The progress of DX is having an impact on the insurance industry. It started with the automation of administrative procedures, and recently, car insurance using drive recorders has been released, which is useful for claims services in the event of an accident. Additionally, as DX advances in each industry, new data is becoming available and risk assessments are becoming more sophisticated.
In this paper, I consider the role of insurance in domain-integrated DX from two perspectives, “supporting domain-integrated DX promotion by taking new risks” and “promoting domain-integrated DX as a partner”.
