Abstract
This paper explores the concept, research background, and industrial trends of Femtech, which is still not widely recognized in Japan. By comparing the adoption of Femtech in Japan with that in other countries, the challenges specific to Japan are identified. Based on this analysis, the paper presents how Femtech can contribute to DX (digital transformation) management and proposes effective ways to integrate Femtech into DX strategies. The impact of Femtech extends beyond generating business revenue or improving women's health and restoring their workforce participation. By leveraging digital technology, Femtech fosters diversity through in-creased female participation in production and management. This paper argues that Femtech can be a critical tool in DX management, facilitating the cross-disciplinary integration of human resources, technology, and industry, thereby creating both economic and social value.
