A study of requirements definition using generative AI

Abstract

In order to successfully develop a system, it is important to understand the needs of the users and to accurately define the requirements. However, users are rarely able to articulate their requirements in a clear, structured way. In this case, engineers can interview users and organize the requirements together with them. This paper reports on the results of research to date on how to effectively perform this task using generative AI.
