Prediction of Cervical Lymph Node Metastasis in Carcinoma of Tongue Using SOM

Abstract

In the treatment of the mouth cancer, the presence of the cervical part lymph joint metastasis is an important factor for obtain the prognosis. If it can be forecast whether the mouth cancer will metastasize in the future, certain treatment can be done. In this paper , The Self-Oganizing-Map,applied in the forecast of themetastasis of the cervical part lymph joint of the mouth.
