Application to the medical diagnostic system by Single Input Rule Modules connected type fuzzy reasoning method

Abstract

Single Input Rule Modules connected type fuzzy reasoning method (SIRMs method, for short) by Yubazaki can decrease the number of fuzzy rules drastically in comparison with the conventional fuzzy reasoning models. SIRMs method is shown to be superior to the ordinary methods by applying to non-linear functions. Furthermore, SIRMs method is applied to a diabetes diagnostic system, showing the validity.
