Abstract
Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) is established as a communication system that controls a machine by measured neuronal activity of human brain. And, it is expected that a BCI contributes to the progress of the instrument for nursing and welfare. In this study, we propose a fundamental system of BCI based on Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) technique. And, a brain activity relating internal speech production is used as controlling signal for the system. The availability of the BCI system was demonstrated by experiment for multiple subjects.
