Orthognathic Surgery Support System Considering Esthetic Score after Surgery Part III

Abstract

In this paper, an orthognathic surgery support system, in which features of patients before and after surgery are represented in 2D map using weighted distance-based self-organizing map, is proposed. The proposed system makes it easy to visually observe a change of a profile pre- and post surgery on 2D map, then it is useful for planning of surgery and informed consent.
