Distance-type TS Fuzzy Reasoning Method and Its Application to Fuzzy Discriminant Analysis for Medical Diagnostic Data

Abstract

This paper proposes distance-type TS (Takagi-Sugeno) reasoning method, in which the consequent part of fuzzy rule consists of a function. Moreover, learning algorithm is proposed for the distance-type TS reasoning method and applied to the fuzzy discriminant analysis of a diabetes diagnostic data, showing the satisfactory learning results.
