Abstract
Body weight and fat deposited in greater omentum were examined with special reference to reproductive success in artificially fed free-ranging female Japanese monkeys ( Macaca fuscata) at Takasakiyama (Oita Prefecture ).Reproductive success was closely related to the body weight and the fat in November just before the mating season. The weight and the fat in pregnant females were higher than those of non-pregnant females.
