Abstract

The evaluation of a diameter of a retinal vessel is associated with the diagnosis of diabetes, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, stroke, etc. AVR (Arteriolar-to-Venular diameter Ratio) is used for the diagnosis of the hypertension and arteriosclerosis. We proposed in the past research the tracking method for the boundary of the retinal vessel on the retinal fundus image of cataract patients. In this study, the precision of the proposed method has been evaluated through a large amount of actual data.
