Consideration of Shape Classification in Relationship Analysis between Maxillofacial Skeleton and Swallowing Function

Abstract

this study aims to classify the shape of maxillofacial skeleton and find relationships between maxillofacial skeleton and swallowing function．We used SOM² for the shape classification and CCA-SOM for search the relationships．Previously，We use shape address for CCA-SOM．But We tried to use SOM²’s unit for CCA-SOM．Results show that We cannot find the relationships by using both methods．Next plan is execute CCA-SOM by using less-dimension maxillofacial skeleton data.
